Born in 1951, John attended Woodhouse Grammar School and Barnet Collage. He studied Fine Art Bronze Casting under David Reid and opened his first bronze studio in 1979

Artistic Vision

The acclaimed Spike Milligan Statue in Avenue House, Finchley, has re-galvanised interest in the proposed war memorial ‘Victory’ designed for Barnet some years back. This monumental sculpture, one and a half times life size, of a weary knight at the eye of the storm of battle offers Barnet the chance to offer a home to probably the most exciting artistic vision ever seen in the borough.
